Israel Mason-Williams




Israel Mason-Williams is a PhD student with the UKRI’s Safe and Trusted AI program and is supervised by Helen Yannakoudakis. He works on mechanistic and functional aspects of neural networks. He is also a visiting researcher at Queen Mary University of London working on fundamental AI research and has recently finished an AI Policy and Goverance Fellowship with Talos.

Dr Helen Yannakoudakis




Dr Helen Yannakoudakis is a Senior Lecturer in Natural Language Processing in the Department of Informatics at King’s College London. She is a Turing Fellow and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has won international competitions such as the NeurIPS 2020 Hateful Memes Challenge. Her expertise has shaped the AI community through research and serving as an Area Chair for world-class AI conferences such as ACL, NeurIPS, AAAI, and ICLR.
